What does “site license” mean?
The introductory commercial offer is priced per licensed customer site rather than per individual user. The final scope is governed by the applicable licence/order terms.
How long is the free trial?
14 days. The launch site does not require a credit card to request the evaluation.
Which systems can DSE connect to?
DSE covers a growing mix of relational, NoSQL, enterprise and mainframe-oriented sources. Examples include SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, SharePoint, ServiceNow, SAP, CICS, IMS and VSAM. Compatibility can depend on drivers, credentials and the target system configuration.
What is the Private AI Advisor?
It is the optional AI-enabled DSE package designed around locally deployed/offline-oriented AI assistance. Exact model, hardware and installation requirements should be validated for the target workstation.
Does DSE send my database data to public AI services?
The Private AI package is designed to support locally running AI workflows. Organizations should still validate their own configuration, model deployment and security controls before using AI with sensitive information.
Why is the Founding Customer price lower?
The objective of the first 10 commercial customers is adoption, real-world feedback and references. The first-year launch price is intentionally lower than the planned later introductory pricing.
Can I use DSE commercially during the paid licence?
Yes, subject to the licence/order terms delivered with the commercial purchase.
Can I ask about a specific connector before buying?
